Killing In a Bad Moon is formed by rock veterans, with at least 30 years of activities each, in addition to stints in dozens of bands and projects. What makes this experience more exciting is that the four musicians are not tied to remote times and work so that this union results in different sounds from those they have already produced in their careers.

The group has in its formation former members of bands like Resist Control, Boi Mamão and Zeitgeist Co., artists that had a considerable projection in the 90's, and that are together to create a sound different from their previous bands, with a look at the future. Encompassing references in various aspects of rock, Killing in a Bad Moon is composed by Cassio Linhares (vocals), Nilo Ferreira (guitar), Andre Massad (drums) and Ton Zanoni (bass).

Difficult to define the sound result in a watertight classification. The songs fluctuate through different aspects of rock, with elements from classic heavy metal to alternative metal, garage rock, blues, punk, post-punk, stoner rock, hard rock without frills, psychedelia and even less noticeable references,

which are part of of the musicians' experience.

The sound ambiences provide moments that are sometimes vibrant and furious, sometimes dark and hypnotic, leaving the listener free to interpret the sensations provided by the songs. This diversity of interpretations is born at the source, with each of the members presenting different impressions about how Killing in a Bad Moon impacts their lives and how it can sensitize people who will have the opportunity to hear their works.

O que torna esta experiência mais empolgante é que os quatro músicos não se prendem a tempos remotos e trabalham para que essa união resulte em sonoridades diferentes das que já produziram em suas carreiras.

O grupo tem em sua formação ex-integrantes de bandas como Resist Control, Boi Mamão e Zeitgeist Co., artistas que tiveram uma considerável projeção nos anos 90, e que estão juntos para criar uma sonoridade diferente de suas bandas anteriores, com um olhar no futuro. Difícil definir o resultado sonoro em uma classificação estanque. As músicas flutuam por diversas vertentes do rock, sendo perceptíveis elementos do heavy metal clássico ao metal alternativo, garage rock, blues, punk, pós-punk, stoner rock, hard rock sem firulas, psicodelia e até referências menos perceptíveis, mas que fazem parte da vivência dos músicos.

 

As ambiências sonoras proporcionam momentos ora vibrantes e furiosos, ora soturnos e hipnóticos, deixando o ouvinte livre para interpretar as sensações proporcionadas pelas músicas. Essa diversidade de interpretações já nasce na fonte, com cada um dos integrantes apresentando impressões distintas sobre como o Killing in a Bad Moon impacta suas vidas e como pode sensibilizar as pessoas que terão a oportunidade de ouvir suas obras.
